Important Dates
24 July 2027 – Nagar Pradakshina – A significant religious procession marking an important phase of the Nashik Kumbh Mela.

02 August 2027 – First Amrit Snaan – The first major sacred bathing day for pilgrims at the holy Godavari Ghats.

31 August 2027 – Second Amrit Snaan – An important bathing day attracting devotees to Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.

11–12 September 2027 – Third Amrit Snaan – A major sacred bathing period bringing pilgrims together for holy dips and prayers.

Day 01         ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. Meet & assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel.

Overnight at hotel.

Day 02         DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast sightseeing of Old Delhi takes you to Jama Masjid, – The largest mosque in India. Drive past Red Fort & Chandni Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal Royalty which today is the busiest commercial area of the city. Rickshaw ride in the bustling bazaars of Chandani Chowk. Also Visit Raj Ghat (memorial to Mahatma Gandhi).

Afternoon: sightseeing of New Delhi including the visit to the 12th century Qutab Minar. Bangla sahib Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) Drive past the India Gate (war memorial dedicated to the lives of laid down by the Indian soldiers), the president’s residence – formerly the Viceroy’s Palace, parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, – an interesting blend of the Victorian and 20th century architecture. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03         DELHI – AGRA BY SURFACE 320 KMS/04 HRS.
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Agra. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Later Enjoy a magical sunset visit to I’timad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, popularly known as the Baby Taj. As the sun sets, the marble monument glows with golden hues, creating a peaceful and romantic atmosphere—perfect for photography and quiet reflection. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04         AGRA
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast Taj Mahal undoubtedly one of the most romantic buildings of the world. Renowned for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty, it counts among man’s proudest creations to commemorate his love (Friday Closed). Also visit Agra Fort. The fort is really a city within a city, which embraces the Moti Masjid, the Diwan-I-Am or the Hall of Public Audiences, the Diwan-I-Khas or the Hall of Private Audiences, the Octagonal Tower, Jahangir’s Palace and many more monuments”.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 05         AGRA– Fatehpur Sikri – JAIPUR BY SURFACE 250 KMS / 05 HRS.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri is the imperial city of the Mughal dynasty. Famously known as the city of ghosts, it was built by the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar to commemorate his victory of South India. Upon arrival transfer to the Hotel.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 06         JAIPUR – Amber – JAIPUR
Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning: visit of Amber Fort riding on elephant back. Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal – a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. En-route to Amber Fort, you will have a brief photography stop at Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds.

Later: – city tour of Jaipur which begins with a visit to the Maharaja’s City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Later visit the Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 07         JAIPUR – MUMBAI BY FLIGHT IX9862-1010/1210 HRS.

MUMBAI – NASIK BY SURFACE 185 KMS / 04 HRS.
Breakfast at the Hotel. In time transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Mumbai.

After arrival, drive to the holy city of Nashik, situated on the banks of the sacred Godavari River. Nashik is one of the four principal pilgrimage destinations associated with the Kumbh Mela and is traditionally known as Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha. The city is closely associated with the Ramayana and is home to several important temples and sacred ghats, including Panchavati and Ram Kund.

The Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027 is being organised in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar under the supervision of the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority established by the Government of Maharashtra. The preparations include arrangements for pilgrim facilities, transportation, sanitation, security, ghats and other infrastructure for the enormous number of devotees expected to attend.

On reaching Nashik, check in to the Kumbh Camp for an overnight stay.

Day 08         NASHIK //THE SIMHASTHA KUMBH MELA 2027
Today, experience the extraordinary atmosphere of the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela, one of India’s most important spiritual gatherings, held at Nashik and Trimbakeshwar.

The Kumbh Mela brings together millions of pilgrims, saints, sadhus, ascetics and spiritual seekers from different parts of India. The sacred Godavari River, ancient temples, colourful processions, religious camps and the presence of numerous Akharas create an unforgettable spiritual and cultural experience.

During your visit, explore the Kumbh Mela area and experience the unique atmosphere of the Sadhugram and Akhara camps, where Naga Sadhus, Sadhus, Yogis and spiritual practitioners gather during the festival.

You may spend time observing the religious traditions, rituals and daily activities of the camps, while your accompanying guide explains the history and significance of the Kumbh Mela.

The experience offers a fascinating insight into India’s living spiritual traditions and provides excellent opportunities to witness the diversity of Hindu religious practices and the extraordinary scale of this sacred gathering.

To provide a comfortable and secure experience during the Kumbh Mela, accommodation will be arranged at a dedicated camp in a convenient location, subject to the official access, security and traffic arrangements applicable during the festival.

Day 09         NASHIK / TRIMBAKESHWAR – MAIN SHAHI SNAN / SACRED BATHING DAY
Today is reserved for experiencing the main Shahi Snan / sacred bathing ceremony, subject to the officially announced Simhastha bathing calendar.

This is one of the most spectacular occasions of the Kumbh Mela, when large numbers of devotees, saints, Sadhus and Akhara members gather for ritual bathing in the sacred waters.

The procession of the Akharas and the arrival of Naga Sadhus form one of the most remarkable visual and cultural experiences of the Kumbh Mela. The atmosphere around the ghats is filled with religious ceremonies, devotional chants, processions and traditional rituals.

For photographers and culturally interested travellers, this offers a rare opportunity to witness one of India’s most important living religious traditions.

Due to the enormous crowds and security restrictions on major bathing days, sightseeing and movement will be strictly subject to the instructions of the local authorities and Kumbh Mela administration. Overnight at the camp.

Day 10         NASHIK
Breakfast at the camp.

Full day at leisure to explore the Simhastha Kumbh Mela and experience the colourful religious camps, Akharas, Sadhugram and activities around the sacred ghats, subject to local access and security arrangements.

Depending on the prevailing conditions, an optional visit may be arranged to Panchavati, Ram Kund and other important religious sites of Nashik.

The remainder of the day is free to absorb the unique atmosphere of the Kumbh Mela, interact with local pilgrims and observe the diverse traditions and rituals associated with this extraordinary spiritual gathering.

Day 11         NASHIK – MUMBAI BY SURFACE 185 KMS / 04 HRS.
Breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast drive to Mumbai. Upon arrival Transfer to the Hotel.

Afternoon city tour of Mumbai Including including Victoria Station outside, Gateway of India, the Prince of Wales Museum, and Mumbai laundry, Marine Drive, Chowpatty Beach, Hanging Garden, Crawford Market.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12         LEAVE MUMBAI
Breakfast at the Hotel. Later drive to Elephanta Caves. An excursion across the Mumbai harbour to 1200-year old Elephanta Caves housing some of the most beautiful rock-cuts of the period. The famous Trimurti sculpture of three-faced Shiva depicting his three aspects as Creator, Preserver and Destroyer is powerfully portrayed in the massive sculpture. (Closed on Mondays and not available during the Monsoon).

In time transfer to the Airport to board the flight for onward destination.
